At Corentium we use the most accurate technology to create user-friendly digital radon detectors.
Our primary customers are homeowners living in radon-prone areas in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Homeowners can use our device to see if they are at risk for high radon exposure. Radon is a radioactive gas that seeps into the foundation of many homes. An estimated 20,000 people die from radon exposure every year, and it is the second leading cause of lung cancer after smoking. We also aim to replace traditional charcoal detection devices that are cumbersome, need to measure for months, and then have be sent to a lab to obtain any results. We also differentiate ourselves from our competitors with better build quality and design.
If homeowners see that their levels are high, they often install mitigation systems to reduce the radon level. By using our device, homeowners can see if their mitigation efforts are working. The device shows the radon level for the past 24 hours, 7 days, and long term averages.
Corentium is based in Oslo, Norway. However, most of our customers are in the United States and Canada.
